Witnesses to Aviation History.
Condor, Ilyushin and C-54 at Tempelhof Airport

The history of aviation and Tempelhof are inextricably linked, all the way back to early, innovative flight experiments on what is now Tempelhof Field. Later, the functional and modern airport building was constructed, which became a symbol of the aeronautical mastery of the Airlift.
This unique journey through time takes a look at an era full of innovation, bravery and pioneering spirit, but also at its darker sides. You will have the opportunity to see three carefully restored aircrafts from the Museum of Technology at Tempelhof Airport: the Ilyushin Il-14, the Douglas C54 "Skymaster", and the legendary and the only example of the German record-breaking airplane still in existence, Focke Wulf 200 "Condor". Experience aviation history up close and let yourself be carried away by the fascination of flying.
