Children's birthdays in Museums
How far in advance should a children's birthday be booked?
It is important that you contact us well in advance, as children's birthday parties are usually fully booked several months in advance. Please use the booking request form on this website.
Can we bring food?
This is usually possible, but always by individual arrangement. The short break in between can be used in the workshop rooms to eat resealable drinks and snacks that are not too greasy, smelly or crumbly. You may need to bring your own crockery and cutlery.
Can we bring gifts?
Yes, presents can be unwrapped during the break, but we advise against this as the time needed to unwrap presents shortens the workshop time. For short children's birthdays (60 minutes) it is generally not possible to bring presents. Please ensure that you leave the rooms as you found them. Please refrain from using sparklers and confetti.
Is the children's birthday supervised?
Yes, a supervisor will be with the group the whole time, showing them around the museum and looking after the children during the practical part. At least one accompanying adult must stay with the group at all times and is responsible for supervision for the entire duration of the program.
Is it possible to stay longer in the workshop room after the program and continue partying?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. The facilitator and the room are only accessible for the specified duration of the program.
Which children's birthday is suitable for my child?
The best way to find out is to search for offers on this website and use the filter My group. Then select Children's birthday. You can also specify the age of the child and the theme. You can then read through the results at your leisure and choose what you like best. If you can't decide and have further questions, please contact us by phone. We are available Monday to Thursday between 2 and 4 pm.
